As responsible dog owners we all are expert at the art of poop scooping; that correct isn’t it?

If you are a little lapse with your poop scooping routine then maybe the video below will make you sharpen up you act a bit. It seems that in the battle against the owner who fails to scoop their dog’s poop homeowners and apartment managers are starting to employ DNA testing!

Yes you heard me right, DNA testing. The sort of thing you would normally only expect to see on CSA, is now targeting your dog’s poop.

 

 

When I first heard about this development I was naturally defensive and saw if as people getting things out of proportion against dog owners. But after I had watched the clip and let it sink in for a minute or two, then I saw the point. And as I said at the start of this article, poop scooping is some thing all dog owners should know about and do as a matter of routine.

In case you didn’t know, it is worth reminding everyone that apart from being unpleasant, dog poop can carry infections such as  Toxocariasis, and so should always be collected and disposed of responsibly
